Celebration of Running 5k at the Orlando Science Center on August 18th, 2012

Track Shack’s 2012 and 2013 Racing Series kicks off on Saturday, August 18th, 2012 with the Celebration of Running 5k at the Orlando Science Center.

Celebration of Running 5k

The Celebration of Running is sponsored by Florida Hospital and is one of Orlando’s largest 5k races throughout the year. The race starts and ends at the Orlando Science Center in Loch Haven Park and takes you around tree-lined paths around the 3 Orlando lakes of Lake Formosa, Lake Ivanhoe, and Lake Highland. All paid entrants will receive a commemorative t-shirt and all finishers receive a medal.

8:45 a.m.: Healthy 100 Kids’ Run
9:00 a.m.: Awards

Entry Fees

Through Aug. 11 $24
Aug. 12-17 $28
17 & under / 65 & over Through Aug. 17: $15
Race day at the race site $35 – cash or check only
