The Russian Ballet of Orlando will be returning to Lake Eola in 2012 to present their free performance of the holiday classic, The Nutcracker, at the Lake Eola Disney Amphitheater in Downtown Orlando.
Russian Ballet Nutcracker
The two hour performance will begin at 7:30 PM on Saturday, December 22nd, 2012. This is the 10th year that the Russian Ballet has performed at Lake Eola and this performance is very popular so it pays to arrive early. Ballet professionals are on stage with some very talented young adults to bring this performance to life.
Additional shows will be held for their normal price admission at the Plaza Live Theater on December 9th, 2012 and December 10th, 2012 and at Timber Creek High School on November 30th, 2012. I attended the 2010 performance and highly recommend any of the performances for a great family night out. The Russian Ballet of Orlando is doing some outstanding work teaching and performing ballet in the Orlando area.
The Orlando Ballet will also be performing the Nutcracker at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre in December.
