2015 Old Town Halloween Event Brings Free Halloween Fun with Carnival Rides and a Haunted House

old_town_halloweenOld Town is hosting their free Halloween event for the fourth year in a row on the Friday and Saturday nights leading up to Halloween with costume contests, roaming characters, and entertainment.

Old Town Halloween 2015

Old Town will be modeling a scaled-down version of some of Orlando’s larger Halloween events. The annual event has free trick-or-treating, a costume contest, and other types of spooky entertainment (see video below). On Saturday nights, Old Town will continue to have their classic car show on display.

With Disney cancelling their Happy Haunting event at Downtown Disney in 2011, Old Town has a great opportunity to capture the family-friendly market for those individuals that do not have it in the budget this year to attend Mickey’s Halloween Party, SeaWorld Halloween, or Halloween Horror Nights. In addition to the Halloween events, adjacent Fun Spot USA has several carnival type rides for a fun night out with the family in addition to restaurants, shops, and bars at Old Town.

For an extra cost of $15.00 for adults ($12.00 online), you can take a tour in Old Town’s resident haunted house called Legends: A Haunting at Old Town.

Old Town Halloween will run on Friday and Saturday nights on September 25th and 26th, October 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 17th, 18th, 24th, 25th, and then on October 31st.
