When choosing a brunch spot in Orlando after our Easter Church service in 2012, we visited Winter Park Village in the city of Winter Park to see which restaurants were open for lunch. The answer was a majority of them.
Easter Brunch at Winter Park Village
Winter Park Village is a medium-size outdoor retail and restaurant center that is popular with Orlando locals. For Easter Brunch, we found that Cheesecake Factory, Brio Tuscan Grille, PF Changs China Bistro, Truffles Grill, Mitchell’s Fish Market Seafood Restaurant and Bar, and Lime Mexican Grill were all open for Easter Brunch. Also, within the immediate area of Winter Park, Hillstone Restaurant and Briarpatch were open as well as Buca di Beppo in nearby Maitland.
Cheesecake Factory and Brio Wait Times
Around 12:30 PM, a party of four at Brio had a wait time of around 40 minutes and Cheesecake Factory a wait time of around 20 minutes. After spending a few minutes outside around the fountain and benches at Winter Park Village with our pager, we sat down and had Easter Brunch at the Cheesecake Factory. On page 81 of the menu (or maybe it was page 18) just before the cheesecake selection is a full page of Brunch items that are available until 2 PM every Sunday. I choose the Monte Cristo Sandwich (see picture above) that is fried french toast stuffed with eggs, bacon, ham, egg, and cheese sprinkled with powdered sugar and served with strawberry preserves and fried potatoes. It was as good as it looks.
If you are looking for a great Easter brunch spot that doesn’t involve buffet’s, then we highly recommend heading over to Winter Park Village. Cheesecake Factory, Brio Tuscan Grille, and PF Changs China Bistro also have locations at the Mall at Millenia in Orlando.
