The hot summer months take the life out of us adults, but kids seem to never lose any energy. When heat indexes reach 100 plus degrees, indoor activities that can burn kids’ energy are a must.
Children’s Activity Centers
The new trend for indoor children’s activities centers are a great place to spend dreadfully hot Central Florida summers.
A few of the best are:
- Ace Gymnastics (Longwood)
- Amaya Papaya (Casselberry)
- Bounce U (Sanford)
- Max & Oli Kid’s Playhouse (Winter Garden)
- Monkey Joe’s (Winter Park)
- Monkey Joe’s (International Drive)
Most of the centers offer similar activities – bounce houses, indoor slides, ball pits, etc., with the exception of Amaya Papaya that more closely resembles what you might see at a preschool – different activity centers of play kitchens, supermarkets, train sets, sand boxes, and such.
Admission to these locations are about $10 per day but extended savings passes and discounts are available through each location’s website.
And if all else fails, there is always a Chick-fil-a Playground.
