2014 Turkey Trot 5k on Thanksgiving at Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando

A Thanksgiving tradition celebrates it’s 25th year in downtown Orlando at Lake Eola with the Seniors First Turkey Trot 5k. Runners will convene at Lake Eola on the morning of Thanksgiving to run 3.1 miles around the city.

Orlando Turkey Trot 5k

The Turkey Trot takes place every year on the morning of Thanksgiving  to help stave off the dinner to be consumed hours later. The event is so popular that it is common for 4,000 to 5,000 runners to participate in the event. The 2014 event takes place on Thursday, November 27th at 8 am.
