Labor Day Weekend in Orlando 2026

Epcot International Food and Wine Festival global marketplace booths at World Showcase during Labor Day weekend in Orlando

Labor Day Weekend in Orlando — September 5–7, 2026 — brings together some of the biggest annual events on the city’s fall calendar. From the kickoff of the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, the start of Magical Dining Month, Electric Ocean and IGNITE at SeaWorld Orlando, and live jazz at Timucua Arts Foundation, there is no shortage of things to do over the long weekend.

Epcot International Food and Wine Festival

The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival kicks off on August 27, 2026 and runs through November 21, 2026 — making Labor Day Weekend one of the best times to experience it before fall crowds build. Global marketplace booths line World Showcase, offering small plates and drinks from dozens of countries alongside the DECONSTRUCTED! culinary demonstrations and the Eat to the Beat Concert Series on select evenings.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Disney’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party returns to Magic Kingdom on select nights from August 7 through October 31, 2026. Labor Day weekend falls on one of the early September party nights — a great chance to experience the event before October crowds peak. Party guests can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m., with festivities officially beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The 2026 party adds a new Stitch dance party at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland, where Stitch, Lilo, and Angel host a costume-themed dance celebration. Returning highlights include the Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade at 8:15 p.m., the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular in front of Cinderella Castle featuring the Sanderson Sisters alongside Hades and Jafar, and Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Fireworks Spectacular with Jack Skellington narrating castle projections and pyrotechnics over Seven Seas Lagoon. Over a dozen trick-or-treating stations are set up throughout the park, with complimentary treat bags provided at entry. Tickets sell out early — buy in advance at disneyworld.com.

Orlando Magical Dining Month

September is Orlando’s Magical Dining Month. In 2026, the program runs August 16 through September 30, offering three-course prix fixe dinners at participating restaurants for $40 or $60 per person. Labor Day weekend falls squarely in the middle of the promotion — a great excuse to book a table at one of Orlando’s top restaurants. See the full list at magicaldining.com.

SeaWorld Electric Ocean and IGNITE Fireworks & Drone Show

Labor Day Weekend 2026 marks the final weekend of SeaWorld Orlando’s Electric Ocean, running on select dates through September 7, 2026. After dark, the park transforms into an immersive world of light and music, with SeaWorld’s most popular attractions taking on a whole new atmosphere under enhanced nighttime lighting and soundscapes. The evening closes with IGNITE — an all-new 2026 nighttime spectacular that opens with a drone show before seamlessly transitioning into the Ignite Fireworks show, creating a fully immersive 360-degree finale over the park. See seaworld.com/orlando for select dates and show times.

SeaWorld Halloween Spooktacular

SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular kicks off August 29 and runs through November 1, 2026, making Labor Day Weekend one of the first opportunities to experience the fall event. During the day, kids can trick-or-treat through the park and meet silly Halloween-costumed SeaWorld characters in this family-friendly daytime celebration included with park admission.

Labor Day Jazz Festival at Timucua Arts Foundation

On Labor Day itself — Monday, September 7, 2026 — the Timucua Arts Foundation hosts its annual Labor Day Jazz Festival featuring world-class saxophonist Eric Alexander. One of the most celebrated jazz tenors of his generation, Alexander performs at Timucua’s intimate and acoustically refined venue at 2000 S Summerlin Ave in South Orlando.
