Star Spangled Sanford returns on Friday, July 4, 2026, drawing thousands of families to Fort Mellon Park and the Sanford Riverwalk along Lake Monroe for a free evening of entertainment, street performers, and a spectacular fireworks launch from the Downtown Sanford Marina.

The fireworks finale launches at 9:15 p.m. from the marina, with Lake Monroe providing a stunning reflective backdrop.
Fort Mellon Park’s open lawn is ideal for tailgating — bring camping chairs, blankets, and small coolers. Pop-up tents (10’x10′ maximum) are allowed but must be taken down no later than 8 p.m. for unobstructed fireworks viewing.
