A new Christmas event will be hosted at the Lake Eola Amphitheater this year as the First Baptist Church of Orlando will be presenting Christmas in the Park. This event is being hosted by the same church that produces the Singing Christmas Trees so they have some practice singing Christmas Carols to make this event a success. The concert will take place on Sunday December 18, 2011 at 4:30 PM and again at 6:30 PM and will consist of the First Baptist Choir and Orchestra. The inaugural Christmas in Park event was to have happened in 2010 but was rained out.
