There are many wonderful events that you can attend in Orlando to celebrate Christmas, from the candlelight processional at Disney’s Epcot and the Osborne Display at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to the Winter Park Christmas Parade and Light Up UCF. However, the best event that tops them all is The Singing Christmas Trees at the First Baptist Church of Orlando.
The Singing Christmas Trees
Over 300 members of the First Baptist Choir combine their singing talents alongside a full orchestra and dancers while 250,000 lights dance to the music to create a one-of-a-kind spectacle that I have yet to see somewhere else that comes close to the performance of the Singing Christmas Trees (please see a preview video below).
The Singing Christmas Trees is an annual ticketed event that has been staged in Orlando since 1980. The Singing Christmas Tree’s makes the Orlando Local Guide’s Best of Orlando list as the Best Christmas Event to attend in the city during the Christmas Holiday to celebrate the season. Tickets are now on sale for the 2015 shows for $7, $10, $14 and $18. Dinner combo packages that include premium seating and a dinner buffet are also available for additional cost.
