Disney World puts out a lot of holiday decorations during the month of December each year. From the Gingerbread House at the Grand Floridian to the Christmas Trees that line the theme parks, there is definitely a lot of sights and sounds for the holidays.
Gingerbread Tree
Each year, Disney’s Contemporary Resort builds a giant Gingerbread Tree that is made from over 1,000 pounds of honey, 800 pounds of flour, and 600 pounds of chocolate and powdered sugar each. At the desk of the tree, you can buy your own gingerbread houses, sweets, and edible picture frames. When taking the monorail from the Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary, take a look at the giant Mickey Mouse Wreath on the side of the concourse that lights up at night. Also, take a look at the Gingerbread House at the Boardwalk Resort.
