Otronicon is Orlando’s biggest interactive technology and video gaming conference and event that takes place each January at the Orlando Science Center. With Orlando having one of the largest simulation industries in the world and being home to one of Electronic Arts largest video game development teams in EA Tiburon, the 2016 event will take place on Friday, January 15th through Monday, January 18th, 2015 beginning at 10 AM. The event is open until 10 PM on Friday and Saturday and 6 PM on Sunday and Monday.
Otronicon Exhibits
For each Otronicon, many leading industry and educational institutions setup exhibits featuring bleeding edge simulation and gamining areas. In years past, EA Sports and Disney World has setup exhibits at the event. The 2016 event will see exhibits from NASA, Microsoft, and the University of Central Florida’s Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy, named the No. 2 graduate game-development program in 2015 by Princeton Review.
