The annual Star Wars convention, Star Wars Celebration VI, is being held in Orlando this year at the Orange County Convention Center from Thursday, August 23rd through Sunday, August 26th, 2012. The Star Wars Celebration event is the franchise’s biggest annual event that will bring in thousands of Star Wars fans to the city.

Some of the highlights of the 2012 event will include an evening with “Jay and Silent Bob” writer and director Kevin Smith and appearances by Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Seth Green (Robot Chicken), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), and a lot more.

Star Wars in Orlando
Outside of the celebration, the Orange County History Center will have their own Star Wars celebration on September 15th, 2012 and Disney’s Hollywood Studios has their annual Star Wars Weekends in the Spring.
