2016 Orlando Touch a Truck Introduces Construction Equipment and Vehicles to Kids on January 23rd

It is not hard to see that kids love everything about big trucks and construction equipment. You only need to look as far as some of the most popular children’s characters like Handy Manny, Bob the Builder, Thomas the Train, Chuggington, and Mater from Cars.

Touch a Truck

Every January, Trinity Lutheran School in Downtown Orlando puts on their annual fundraiser that brings the big trucks for kids to check out and play with when they put on Touch-a-Truck on January 23rd, 2016 from 9 AM to 1 PM. In years past, more than 30 vehicles have participated in the event.

Entry into the event is $5 per person and free for children under 2 years old.

Trucks On Display

Some of the participating companies that have brought vehicles to the event in years past include the City of Orlando Public Works, TG Lee, Servpro, Chep, Frito Lay, Nutella Food Truck, the Orlando Fire Department, UPS, Orlando Police Department, Ensley Construction, and Lynx.

Each truck will have a representative on hand to teach families about the particular truck and to allow children to honk the horns.
