The fourth annual Winter Park Harvest Festival will takes place on Saturday, November 22nd, 2014 in Central Park in the West Meadow green area that is close to the post office in Winter Park and is free for everyone to attend. The festival takes place from 10 AM until 4 PM.

Winter Park Harvest Festival

The Winter Park Harvest Festival is an annual event in Winter Park where many local farmers will be providing fresh produce from which you can purchase your vegetables for Thanksgiving dinner. Seminars, workshops, cooking demonstrations, live music, and youth-focused games highlight the event.

The festival is a 100% local, producer-only market that will feature popular autumn vegetables like sweet potatoes and cauliflower. Eggs, cheese, breads, desserts and more will also be featured.

Also, going on at the same time in the West Meadow as a separate event is Ice Skating in Central Park.

Harvest Dinner

On Friday, November 14th, 2014 there will be a Harvest Dinner at the East End Market in Audubon Park that will honor the farmers and producers that make the festival possible. While you dine on this multi-course meal, the organizers will take you on a video tour of the dinner’s featured farms and introduce you to the growers they love so dearly. All profits benefit the free festival. The cost of the dinner is $75 plus tax.
