There are three signature hotels owned by hotelier Harris Rosen around the Orange County Convention Center around International Drive that celebrate the Christmas Season with holiday carolers and Santa Claus on Friday and Saturday nights on select weekends in the month of December.
During a visit to the Rosen Centre Hotel during the month of December in 2012, we were able to enjoy holiday caroling at the entrance of the hotel, a holiday buffet, a picture with Santa Claus, and a holiday movie under the stars outside at the swimming pool. This is our guide to celebrating the Christmas season at the Rosen Centre Hotel on International Drive.
Christmas Caroling and Santa Claus
The Rosen Centre Hotel has several events to celebrate the Christmas season that makes it a great spot to stay at if you are attending some of the Christmas events at the theme parks that will then carry over into your stay at the hotel.
As you enter the hotel on certain nights, carolers may greet you with holiday songs. For dinner at the Café Gauguin restaurant buffet, Santa Claus was available for pictures and cookies. At the Rosen Centre swimming pool was the movie “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” playing on the big screen.
If you are not staying at the hotel, the Rosen Centre will validate your self parking if you eat the Café Gauguin. Also, if you prefer not to eat the buffet at Café Gauguin, a full menu is available (see video below).

Thanksgiving and Christmas Buffet
In addition to the different Christmas events taking place during the month of December, the Rosen Centre also has a grande buffet on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day that you can find out about here that is a great option if you have a lot of family visiting out of town and don’t have the room at your house to host everyone.
