Downtown Orlando’s premier bi-annual arts and crafts festival will take place along the streets surrounding Orlando’s Lake Eola Park on Saturday, April 2nd, 2016 from 10 AM-5 PM and on Sunday, April 3rd, 2016 from 10 PM-5 PM.
Spring Fiesta in the Park
The Spring Fiesta in the Park, which follows the Fall Fiesta in the Park event in November, showcases arts and crafts vendors that gets anywhere between 200-300 participants each year. There is typically a pretty eclectic mix of booths from items such as children’s bows, silverware jewelry, clothes for pets, paintings, and food vendors.
The festival is essentially an over-sized farmers market surrounding the historic park. Whether the items in the booths interest you or not, the arts festival brings over 150,000 visitors to Downtown Orlando over the weekend so there is a great sense of community throughout the entire event and makes for a great time.
Downtown Orlando Farmer’s Market
On Sunday afternoon, April 6, 2014 from 10 AM – 4 PM, the Downtown Orlando Farmer’s Market will be held in conjunction with the festival so you can get your fresh produce at the same time that you are browsing the arts and crafts.
Activities for Kids
In addition to the arts and crafts for adults, there are also activities for children including face painting and bounce house type areas.
